A Rwandan truck loaded with Guohau plywood traveling from Kampala to Kigali-Rwanda veers off from the road killing its Conductor.
RUKIGA: A yet to be identified Sino Truck Conductor who seems to be Rwandese National has today Sunday died in a single fatal accident in Rukiga district.
The accident which occurred at around 12:10 am took place after FAW Sino Truck Registration Number RAE 600E/RL 3564 being driven by Imaniraguha Patrick 26 lost Control and fall off the Road at Kafuka – Rwabahazi cell, Muhanga ward, Muhanga town Council along Mbarara – Kabale highway.
According to the eyewitness at the scene, the Cause of the accident was attributed to Driver’s loss of control as he tried to avoid overtaking buses from a different direction.
The Rukiga district Traffic police and integrated highway were quick to respond to the scene, who were later joined by the Kigezi Regional fire Brigade.
The body of the Deceased was retrieved from the vehicle wreckage, taken to Kabale referral hospital Mortuary and the driver who was seriously injured rushed for treatment.
By the time of this report, the Wreckage vehicle is still at the scene as Traffic police together with the Regional fire Brigade are trying to remove it.
