The Suspected Murderers of a retired Educationist in Sheema District increases to five.
SHEEMA: The Uganda Police has confirmed the arrest of two other suspects allegedly for the gruesome murder of Mr Nyehangane Godfrey Tabandama 72 a retired Educationist in Sheema District.
According to ACP Kituuma Rusoke, the Uganda’s Police spokesperson the suspects have been identified as Hanning Byesiza and Godious Nuwagaba who were apprehended on Thursday evening from Kyabugimbi and Kyamuhunga after leads provided by suspects in custody.
“We received information of the murder of Mr Nyehangane Godfrey Tabandama, a 72-year-old retired teacher and resident of Nyamiyaga Cell, Kakunyu Ward, Kabwohe Division, Sheema Municipality in the night of September 18-19, 2024” said ACP Kituuma Rusoke.
The Police in Sheema had earlier managed to apprehend several suspects including Magezi Victor 22, Turyasingura Stuart 20 both herdsmen for the deceased and Kato Stephen 17 a student also working at the deceased’s home.
The late Nyehangane Godfrey, who is the father of the former Chief Photographer for the National Unity Platform Party (NUP) Natumanya Andrew alias Tabz, is slated to laid to rest on Sunday at his residence in Nyamiyaga Cell, Kakunyu Ward, Kabwohe Division, Sheema Municipality.
