KABALE: The Greater Kabale District Youth have submitted their request to the Chief of Defense Forces (CDF) Gen. Muhoozi Kenerugaba, to stand for presidency in the next coming general Election.
This was during the 50th Birthday celebrations of Gen. Muhoozi Kenerugaba, held yesterday evening at Kabale Garage Street in Central Division Kabale Municipality.
In a function organized by “Team Sheikh Kassim Kamugisha” Team leader and the Patriotic League of Uganda General Secretary for Kabale District Mr. Paul Twinamasiko, the youth expressed their hopes for the General’s Candidacy in the upcoming general elections.
In his remarks Paul Twinamasiko, highlighted a number of hidden capabilities in the Chief of Defense Forces (CDF) Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba including; being patriotic, educated, grown up and surrounded by Leadership families among others.
A section of the Youth including; the Rubanda District Youth Councilor Hon. Wilfred Arinda Nsheeka and the Patriotic League of Uganda Mobiliser in Kabale District Mr. Turinawe Henry Wataga, also echoed their endorsement for General’s Candidacy come 2026 general election.
Attending the function the Kabale Central Division LC III Chairperson and an aspiring Kabale Municipality Moyer Hon. Sam Arineitwe commended the youth for the love they have for Uganda’s first Son and Chief of Defense Forces Gen. Muhoozi Kenerugaba.
In celebration of his 50th birthday, the Chief of Defense Forces (CDF), Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, engaged in acts of planting 50 trees at the Luttamaguzi Barracks in Kigungu, Entebbe, and emphasized his commitment to environmental conservation.
