The Rugarama Father’s House Organization holds a graduation Ceremony for its Beneficiaries.
RUBANDA: The Dean of St. Peter’s Cathedral Rugarama Very Rev. Can. Obed Turihohabwe has encouraged the 21 graduates and the beneficiaries of the Rugarama Father’s House Organization to always remember their Supporting Hand.
Can. Obed Turihohabwe was speaking at the beneficiaries graduation ceremony held at the Main Hall of Rugarama Father’s House in Rwere Village, Muyaje Parish, Bubare Sub-County in Rubanda District.
The Man of God told the graduates to always give the glory to God for the people who have helped them along the way and charged them to also inspire other helpless people in their communities.
“I want to encourage you today that if someone comes on your way seeking to be helped, first remember where the church found you then help that person. Go back to your communities and help the helpless people there” said Can. Obed Turihohabwe.
The co-coordinator of Rugarama Father’s House Organization, Mrs. Ketty Akapurara said that the 21 beneficiaries were equipped with a number skills, supported by the church in partnership with Go Africa.
She added that the graduates spent 13 years in the Church based organization and that the church has been instrumental in assisting these beneficiaries in acquiring education.
“Today we organized a graduation for these 21 children who have been receiving support under Rugarama Father’s House in partnership with Go Africa and after staying with us for the last 13 years we had to take them back to their Parents” said Ketty Akapurara.
