Police Director of Operations Calls for Highest Standards of Conduct from Police Presidential Guard

Wakiso, Kampala – The Director of Operations AIGP Mwesigwa Frank underscored the importance of self-discipline and professionalism among the Police Presidential Guard (PPG) unit during a meeting at their base in Kalangalo, Wakiso district.
He highlighted the need for the officers to maintain the highest standards of conduct while performing their duties.
Mwesigwa expressed his gratitude to the officers for their exceptional protection services to Very Very Important Persons (VVIPs), VIPs, and vital installations.
“I want to thank you for the great protection service responsibility you offer to the VVIPS, VIPs, and vital installations. Still, I would like to emphasize the importance of exercising self-discipline and professionalism at all times in the course of your duties,” he said.
As the Director of Operations, Mwesigwa plays a crucial role in overseeing the police force’s operational activities. His meeting with the PPG unit demonstrates his commitment to ensuring the police force maintains its professionalism and dedication to serving the country.
Notably, Mwesigwa’s appointment as Director of Operations was announced by President Yoweri Museveni in May last year, marking his return to a powerful police command position.
