Leaders in Kabale District, rallies the Muslims to join the fight against corruption starting from the Family Level.

KABALE: Muslims have been charged to Ganga against corruption and its attachments within the country.

During the Eid –El-Fitr celebrations held at Ndorwa primary playground in Southern Division Kabale Municipality, the Chairperson Kabale Muslim District Supreme Council Hajji Issa Tindyebwa and Nakawa Division Deputy RCC Sheik Kassim Kamugisha said that corruption has continued to be a challenge hindering districts growth.

They both described of how there has been an increase in poor service delivery due to the un qualified people who are offered jobs after paying cheap prizes without skills of the jobs given to them.

The Kabale district woman MP Hon Catherine Atwakiire Ndamira said that corruption starts at the family levels thus encouraging the public to join hands with leaders in fighting the vise.

The MP also urged people from Islamic faith to get involved in developmental activities for the benefit of their families.

The aspiring leaders Grace Ankunda  Bekunda Bwesigye (For Woman MP Kabale) and Counsel Atweibembere Wilbrod Rwamunahe  (For LC V Chairperson Kabale) backed Kabale Muslim District Supreme Council to demand president’s visit to their headquarters in Kirigime ward that is in between Rushorooza and Rugarama headquarters of Catholics and Protestants respectively.
