Led by Elnathan Kanyaruju their representative in the Kabale Municipality council, the PWDs said that their accommodation facility was severely dilapidated and they spend nights using basins to fetch flood waters from their bedrooms whenever it rains.

Kanyaruju called upon well wishers to come for their rescue in any means possible. He said that the facility accommodates over 20 people.

Mr. Namanya said that he decided to visit the PWDs as one way of including them in his celebration activities, much as most of them might not make it to the Saturday’s event at White Horse Inn, Kabale.

He also said that the plan was to extend his right hand and show them that they are loved and cherished, despite being considered one of the marginalized groups in the society.
