DPC Hima Division Police Boosts Hima Police FC with Jersey Donation
Kasese, Uganda – The DPC Hima Division Police, SP Suzan Nerima Bwire, donated jersey uniforms to Hima Police FC, an unbeaten divisional football team since the establishment of Rwenzori East Region Kasese.
The donation comes at an exciting time for Hima Police FC, as they are currently leading in the ongoing IGP Cup Tournament 2nd Edition, alongside Kasese Netball Team.
Both the teams are likely to represent Rwenzori East against Albertine Region in the upcoming games.
The IGP Cup Tournament features two categories: football and netball, the tournament aimed at promoting sports and teamwork among police officers and the community.
The Spokesperson Police Kasese SP Nelson Tumushime, expressed gratitude for the significant contribution from the DPC, highlighting the importance of supporting sports in the region.
Nelson added that the donation of jersey uniforms is a testament to the DPC’s commitment to promoting sports and community development.
