Col. Okie takes over Directorship role at NALI in Kyankwanzi.
KAMPALA – UGANDA: Col. Okei Rukogota has assumed his leadership tenure as the new Director of the National Leadership Institute (NALI) in Kyankwanzi, taking over from Brig Gen Charles Kisembo.
During the event presided over by the Secretary for Presidency Hajji Yunus Kakande on Friday, Brig Gen Charles outgoing NALI director appreciated the President for allowing him an opportunity to serve Country.
Brig Gen Charles further congratulated the incoming NALI Director Col. Okei pledges his full support and guidance as it is necessary to develop the institution.
In his remarks Hajji Yunus Kakande said that the NALI as an institute is largely focused on providing ideological direction to Ugandans to allow them to regain their patriotic power, freedom, and independence.
He added that the institution has shaped influential leaders in the country who are not only patriotic but also full of leadership skills within the government entities.
The incoming National Leadership Institute (NALI) director Col. Okei Rukogota appreciated president Museveni for pointing him out many to serve in the high ranked position at the institute.
He pledged his commitment to uplifting the activities of the institution describing National Leadership Institute as a center of knowledge and excellence engaged in extensive research for development.
