The Bishop confirmed to the Media that people’s pride, laziness and indiscipline are mostly the root causes of corruption.

“Corruption is mostly practiced by rich people who feel proud when they are building mansions out of the stolen taxpayers money. Because no one can practice corruption when he or she is poor” said Bishop Godfrey Mbitse

He appreciated the government of Uganda for doing a great job not only in ensuring peace, unity and development but also stabilizing the Country’s economy.

He disclosed how the civilians used to fear the men in Uniform many years back relating it to the current situation where under President Museveni the army officers are the most disciplined.
