KABALE: The Kigezi Diocesan Bishop Gaddie Akanjuna, has called upon the newly confirmed Christians in the Aglican faith to always uphold the virtue of truthfulness in all aspects of their lives.

The Bishop was on Sunday officiating at the confirmation service at St. John’s Kizinga Archdeaconry in Kaharo Sub County of Kabale District, where 150 Christians were initiated in the Anglican faith.

Bishop Akanjuna emphasized the importance of honesty, urging the new confirmands to always tell the truth regardless of the situation, saying that truth is the cornerstone of their faith.

“Always reflect on your commitments and live according to Christ’s teachings. I also urge you to remain steadfast in your faith, and adhere to the moral standards of Christianity” said Bishop Gaddie Akanjuna.

Preaching at the same service, Kwesiga Ambrose, a theology lecturer at Bishop Barham University, called on Christians to turn away from demonic teachings and follow the path of Jesus Christ.

“The Church has been infiltrated by Sitan in a mysterious way, thus calling on true believers to stand firm” said Kwesiga Ambrose.

Ambrose further warned Christians about the dangers of false prophets and encouraged believers to remain true to their faith.
