A Rwandan national found ready handed vandalizing and stealing a solar panel within Kabale municipality.
KABALE: The territorial police in Kabale have in its custody a Rwandan national, who was found ready handed on top of a solar panel in Kabale municipality.
According to the Kigezi Police spokesperson ASP Elly Maate the suspect in the police cells was identified as one Shimark Alfonse who was arrested from NSSF Makanga road, Central Division trying to vandalize and steal a solar panel.
It alleged that at around 05:00 Am today morning, two people including one Shimark were sighted at the solar place but the one who was down with a bodaboda managed to escape.
The Police mouse piece calls on the members of the public to remain vigilant and give any information pertaining to such incidents, as the operations against this vice will continue until all the people involved are apprehended.
Maate added that they are trying to ensure that they get full information of this suspect’s associates so that they are all arrested and prosecuted.
