KISORO: The Muhabura Diocesan bishop, Rt. Rev. Godfrey Mbitse, Inaugurated and Commissioned the Fathers’ Union committee of the Diocese.

In a mega function held yesterday Saturday at Diocesan H/quarters Seseme Girls Secondary School in the Main Hall with over 400 People in attendance, a committee of 11 members was Inaugurated.

In his remarks Bishop Mbitse charged members of Fathers’ Union committee to always traverse in the communities, noting and listening to each and every believer’s ideas if they are to execute their roles.

The Bishop further encouraged the committee members to exhibit good discipline in their families to avoid becoming the root cause of wars and violence in their residential villages, churches, families, and in the diocese.

Dr. Sam Museminari the new Diocesan Father’s Union president pledged to diligently work well for the people and to fight for the boys’ lights that have been left behind in aspects of basic life.

He added that the committee has a big journey to move in ensuring that men are educated on their responsibilities as a number of Men have failed, on their duties as heads of Families.
