Missing Hoima businessman found dead in car

David Mucunguzi, a well-known retailer in Hoima, has been found dead inside his Toyota Premio vehicle in Buliima town council, Masindi district.

Mucunguzi, a resident of Kihemba village in Butema parish, Buhanika sub-county, operated a retail shop in the Hoima taxi park. He went missing yesterday, Monday, June 30, after reporting for work and failing to return home in the evening.

His worried relatives reported the matter to Hoima Central police station, prompting immediate investigations. According to Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police spokesperson, Mucunguzi’s body was discovered inside his car today, Tuesday.

Police recovered the body and transported it to Hoima City Mortuary, where a postmortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
