Christians Urged to respect and love their Spiritual Leaders.
KABALE: The Archdeacon of Kizinga Archdeaconry under the Diocese of Kigezi Ven. Mitanga Fred Barigye, has encouraged Christians to respect and love their Spiritual Leaders if they want to harvest many blessings from God.
The Man of God was preaching at the induction service ceremony of Edson Ariyo and his wife, Mrs. Joan Aariyo, as the parish priest at Katenga Church of Uganda Parish in Kizinga Archdeaconry, Yesterday 26th April 2024 at the Church promises.
Ven. Fred Mitanga emphasized that loving and respecting men and women of God foster a positive relationship between Christians and their leaders, an act which God treasures most.
He further urged the newly inducted man of God Ariyo Edson to understand the flock he’s going to be leading at Katenga Church of Uganda and serve based on their need.
In response, lay leader Edson Aariyo expressed his commitment to fulfilling his responsibilities, acknowledging the trust placed in him by the Church of Uganda.
He appreciated the people of Katenga COU for overwhelmingly welcoming him and pledged to uphold the promises made and to serve diligently.
Edson Ariyo as a lay leader, has been serving at All Saints Church of Uganda under Kizinga Archdeaconry, Diocese of Kigezi, located in Kaharo Sub-County, Ndorwa East, Kabale District.
