Homosexuality and Human Trafficking Syndicate Busted in Kisoro
KISORO: Police in Kisoro have detained two suspects and are hunting for two more over alleged homosexuality and human trafficking practices.
The suspects were arrested after a young man from Bukedia reported to the authorities that he was lured to Kisoro with promises of a job at a hotel, only to be forced into homosexual acts.
According to Kisoro District Police Commander Ben Niwamanya Kashumbusha, the two suspects were arrested from a hotel in Kisoro Municipality.

The suspects, identified as David Ntihabyose Fressian from Nyakabande sub-county and Manirakiza Fideli from Kabaya village, Kisoro municipality, confessed to practicing homosexuality during interrogation.
Two more suspects, Damiyano from Rubuguri town council, a student at Kabale University, and Nsimiye Lawrence, a mobile money agent operating in Kisoro town, are currently on the run and being hunted by the police.

Kashumbusha further urged residents of Kisoro district to avoid engaging in such acts, warning that they face charges once arrested.
