Kisoro Woman Mp Akifeeza Urges Parents to Invest More in Children’s Education.
NTUNGAMO: The Kisoro District woman MP Hon Akifeza Grace Ngabirano has challenged the general public to invest in the education of their children for social economic transformation in the community.
Hon Akifeza said on Saturday, at the wedding ceremony of officer in charge of traffic Kisoro District ASP Kushaba Michael and his fiancé Sarah Busingye at Home to Home Kyahweire Ntungamo.
ASP Kushaba Michael a son to Bashaija Baguma Brighton of Rwanda Rwabaheetsi Bwongyera Kajara.
She congratulated ASP Kushaba and Sarah upon exchanging vows and asked them to stick to what they have made until death departs them apart.
The senior presidential advisor and the former Ntungamo District Chairperson Lay canon John Wycliffe Karazaarwe has appealed to civic and political leaders to be accountable and transparent if they are to have a positive legacy in society.
Canon Karazaarwe stressed that retired civic and political leaders have been forced into hiding and selling the accumulated wealth due to mismanagement of public funds while still working in public offices.
Yet, he commended the former parish chief Bashaija Baguma Brighton for being a man of integrity who worked without any blemish during his tenure.
