Three people died on spot in Kampala-Gulu highway fatal accident.
NEWS: Police in Nwoya District have launched a Man hunt of two drivers who were involved in a fatal Road accident along Kampala-Gulu Highway that claimed lives.
The police spokesperson for Aswa West ASP Ongom David Mudong, identified the deceased as Namatovu and other two yet to be identified and the injuries as one Ramadan and another a yet to be identified who was rushed to hospital for treatment.
It is alleged at about 3:00 am near Karuma Bridge along the Kampala-Gulu highway Toyota Hiace (Drone) registration number SSD 770CK travelling from Kampala heading to Juba in South Sudan collided with the Isuzu Bus registration number UBG0855C Nile Star Premium Bus Company from Arua to Kampala.
Police spokesperson attributed the accident to reckless driving of the driver’s Toyota Hiace (Drone) registration number SSD 770CK who is on the run.
He added that no arrests have yet been made since the drivers are both on run and called for calm as more inquiries are ongoing.
