Joshua Cheptegei Breaks 10,000m World Record in Paris

PARIS-FRANCE: The Uganda’s Athletic Joshua Cheptegei becomes the fastest man in the world after setting another record in the men’s Olympic 10,000m at the Stade de France.

Cheptegei clinched the crown with an Olympic Record in the men’s 10,000m in the French city of Paris on August 2, 2024.

Uganda’s Cheptegei Defeated Ethiopia’s Athletie Berihu Aregawi, setting a record of 26 minutes and 43.14 seconds.

Born in the hills of Kapchorwa District Joshua Cheptegei has won more Olympic medals than any other Ugandan athlete in history including a 5,000 metres, Tokyo in 2020, a 10,000 metres, Tokyo in 2020 and the current 10,000 metres in Paris 2024.
