Uganda’s contingent to the 13th EAC FTX in Rwanda joins other EAC contingent at Gako.
KAMPALA-UGANDA: The Ugandan delegation for the 13th East African Community (EAC) Armed Forces Field Training Exercise have officially joined other Participating countries in a 3-day Pre-FTX orientation clinic at Rwanda’s Military Academy- Gako.
The Uganda’s contingent is composed of the Uganda Peoples Defense Force, Uganda Police (UPDF), Uganda Prisons Service, and Civilian components.
The exercise, which runs under the theme “Strengthening Security Sector Interests and Integration for Regional Peace and Stability,” aims at enhancing the capabilities of partner states armed forces.
The Orientation Clinic will deliver in depth lessons relevant to the Forces Field Training Exercise with the aim of building cohesion and standardizing approaches and procedures among EAC Armed Forces.
