MP Kamusiime Caroline to Launch a Man hunt for PDM perpetrators in Rukiga District.
RUKIGA: The Rukiga District Woman MP Hon Kamusiime Caroline Muhwezi has called upon the Leaders and the district technical staff to dispatch to the parish level and harmonize the Parish Development Modal (PDM) issues there.
The Legislator sounded the call on Friday while witnessing the presidential empowerment items distribution at Kantare Playground in Kashambya Sub County Rukiga district.
Hon Kamusiime also a member of the pan African parliament said that she has received a number of complaints in her office that the bonfire PDM beneficiaries are paying fees to be included on the beneficially lists.
“I have received a number of phone calls from the locals complaining that they are being asked to pay money to benefit in the Parish Development Modal which is free to all the Ugandans. We need to launch a serious hunt for those perpetrators who are swindling money from our good people,” said MP Kamusiime Caroline.
The Legislator also appreciated Uganda’s President HE. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for sending the empowerment items to the people of Rukiga district in addition to other projects that were put in place by the government.
She further encouraged the people to actively participate in income generating projects and also educate their children for a proper and a safer future.
At a function preceded over the ONC Boss SPA Hajjat Hadijja Namyaro Uzeiye, a number of dignitaries including the LC V Chairperson Hon Robert Kakwerere, Hon Akampurira Oscar the district speaker, the Rukiga district RDC Mr. Fred Kyamuzigita and his deputy Mr. Kamusiime Zadoch among, Counsel Kiconco Patrick Katabazi (KP) among others were present.
