Star-studded One Battle After Another now showing

One Battle After Another is an action thriller starring Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, Regina Hall, and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, DiCaprio plays Bob, a revolutionary living an isolated existence off-grid with his daughter. Things take a dramatic turn when the disappearance of his daughter coincides with the emergence of his evil nemesis. Paul Thomas Anderson is an acquired taste.

He is best known for films like Phantom Thread, Inherent Vice, and The Master that appeal to a niche crowd. Your reaction to his latest offering will depend entirely on whether or not his approach to storytelling is your cup of tea.

So far, One Battle After Another has a 98 per cent critic rating and an 89 per cent audience score; so, clearly, the people who have seen it, liked it.
