After a seven-month hiatus from the music scene, Sheebah Karungi is making a highly anticipated comeback with a concert slated for August 22, 2025, at the Kampala Serena Hotel.

The self-styled Karma Queen took a step back from the limelight in late 2024, shortly after her electrifying Neyanziza Concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval, a night that not only drew thousands but also became a personal milestone.

On that stage, Sheebah revealed her pregnancy to her fans and officially announced a break from public appearances. During her time away, the award-winning singer was based in Canada, where she welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Amir.

Since then, she has neither released new music nor performed in Uganda. Now aged 35, Sheebah is ready to reclaim her crown. Speaking at a press conference last week, she said, “Thank you all for turning up in big numbers, I don’t take this for granted. I’m as excited as you are and can’t wait to vibe with you at the concert. My team and I are working hard to ensure you have a great time.”

Known for her fierce stage presence and a genre-blending sound that fuses dancehall, afrobeat, and Ugandan pop, Sheebah is promising an unforgettable night.

The concert’s official banking partner, I&M bank, says the event aligns perfectly with its commitment to championing creativity, diversity, and local talent.

“At I&M Bank, we’re passionate about partnering with experiences that enrich our customers’ lives, giving them a chance to unwind and enjoy themselves. These occasions also allow us to share lively moments with our customers beyond the banking hall,” said Racheal Kulanyi, I&M communications and outreach officer.
