DC wins with Superman 2025
Superman 2025 is the first installment in the DC film universe that James Gunn is hoping to grow.
Rather than writing another origin story, Gunn takes audiences to a world in which meta-humans already exist and Superman is a fully established hero. Early reviews are fascinating.
The Rotten Tomatoes critic score is 82 per cent, and the audience rating is 95 per cent, which is great. However, so many viewers seemingly exist on extreme ends of this discussion.
Some people are calling Superman 2025 a masterpiece and possibly the best comic book adaptation ever made. Others think the film is incredibly goofy and messy. You can decide where you land when you watch it in cinemas today.
